Dear Reader, |
Do you have a free minute right now? If yes, then watch these winning 15-second vocabulary videos created by high school and middle school students from around the world before this global pandemic upended our lives. The videos are delightful, and I hope they bring you just a little bit of joy — as they did for our team. Perhaps you’ll learn some unfamiliar words too. |
What else brings us joy during these uncertain times? How about the thousands of students sharing their opinions and ideas on our site during this new era of remote learning? Students are analyzing a flatten-the-curve graph, trying to explain why social distancing matters. They’re sharing what they’re reading and watching while at home; how they’re trying to help others during the pandemic; how they’re trying to stay fit when youth sports are suspended. They’re writing poems, telling stories and being photo detectives. |
What else do we appreciate? All the love that we’re getting from teachers, parents and our regular readers on Twitter, via email and during our weekly Wednesday webinars. A big thank you, from all of us at The Learning Network. |
Sincerely, |
Michael Gonchar, Editor |
