Dear Reader, |
Last week we hosted two webinars for teachers, librarians and parents about how to use The Learning Network for remote learning. Over 500 people attended. And at the end of the sessions, when we asked participants what else we could do to help educators during these uncertain times, they responded: offer more virtual professional development opportunities. |
So that’s what we’re doing. Over the next three Wednesdays we’re featuring three more webinars. And, depending on the response from all of you, and our own ability to handle the extra workload while continuing to publish 25 new teaching resources each week, we hope to schedule even more Wednesday webinars. |

Teach Argumentative Writing With The Learning Network |
A very close second in what participants asked us to do was to create student-friendly units for remote learning. We created our first unit, written directly to students, on argumentative writing. Let us know what you think and if more units like these would be helpful. |
Sincerely, |
