Learning Network: Free New York Times Access for High School Students for Entire 2020-21 School Year

Dear Reader,

All high school students and teachers in the United States can get free digital access to The New York Times until Sept. 1, 2021. Here is how to sign up.

Free access to The Times will make it even easier for students to stay on top of the news, develop daily nonfiction reading habits, participate in our annual contests and conduct research — all from their phone or home computer. And, if you already signed up for your free access back in April, it automatically continues through the new school year.

If you want to learn more about how to teach with The Times using the Learning Network, please join our Sept. 10 webinar. All of the Learning Network’s daily features, like our Student Opinion questions and Lessons of the Day, will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 8 — the day after Labor Day. Our weekly features, like What’s Going On in This Picture? and News Quiz, begin the following week.
